More than half of the global population growth between nowadays and 2050 is expected to occur in Africa. Africa has the most significant rate of population increase among other continents.
The population of Sub-Saharan Africa is predicted to double by 2050.
The population of Nigeria, for instance, has doubled in the last 2 decades and will double again more than 400 million by 2050. As a result, over the following thirty years, the population of Sub-Saharan Africa will grow by one billion.
