A Tory is a person who retains a political conception known as Toryism, based on a British version of conservatism and traditionalism, which supports the domination of social order as it has developed in the English culture throughout history. The Tory ethos has been summed up with the expression “God, Queen, and Country.” Tories usually uphold monarchism and were traditional of a high church Anglican religious legacy.
