According to the World Bank, the U.S. spends far more on its army than any other nation on the planet. The summarized defence spending budgets of China, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, and Brazil yet doesn’t compare to the army spending allowance of the U.S.

United States spends about 649 billion U.S. dollars per year, representing one-third of global military spending.

China was the world’s second-biggest military spender, estimating for 14 per cent of total global military expenditure.
